We provide full time, 52 week care and support to meet the individual needs of young people. We also consider day education placements for young only requiring specialised leaning opportunities.
The decision for a young person to be placed at Starley Hall reflects an optimism regarding the possibilities for change.
We believe it is important for parents to be involved in the decision making process of choosing a school, or a place to live. In doing so you have the opportunity to express what you would like your child to achieve, and reaffirm continuing responsibility as parents.
- Choice continues to be an intrinsic element in our work with young people. Our structured packages of care and education encourage young people to take responsibility and begin to make positive choices.
- Adults are always available to define areas of choice and support a young person. Adults help young people consider the consequences of any action.
- Making good choices increases self confidence and leads to personal achievement.
