Teaching Vacancy: Maternity Cover from January/February 2026 for 9 months

We currently have a maternity cover vacancy, and are looking for an experienced, committed and creative teacher. Ideally, this candidate will be primary qualified with experience of working with complex ASN, however we are also interested in secondary teachers who have similar experience.

This vacancy is anticipated to run from February 2026 for a period of 9 months, on a temporary, full-time basis.

Candidates need to have a sound, working knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and knowledge and understanding of the SQA qualification framework, as well as routes for ‘wider achievement’. All candidates need to evidence the capacity to motivate and engage learners at all levels, presenting

All appointments at Starley Hall are subject to a PVG scheme check and references. Salaries are paid in accordance with the SNCT main grade scale supply rate.
